Museum Guard

Get ready

1. Pick one kid (or a leader) to be the museum guard.

How to play

1. Everyone else strikes a statue pose anywhere in the room and freezes.
2. The guard walks slowly around the museum looking for any statue that moves, blinks a lot, or laughs.
3. When the guard turns their back, statues may quietly switch to a new pose.
4. If the guard catches a statue moving, that statue sits down and helps the guard watch.
5. The last statue standing becomes the next guard.

Tips & variations

• Call out a theme for the statues, like "zoo animals" or "Bible characters."
• The guard can make faces but may not touch the statues.
