Word Chain

How to play

1. Pick a category, like animals or places, or allow any word.
2. The first player says a word, like "cat."
3. The next player says a word that starts with the last letter, like "tiger."
4. Keep the chain going around the group. No repeats!
5. If someone gets stuck for five seconds, start a new chain with them choosing the first word.

Tips & variations

• Keep it team-friendly by counting how long a chain the whole group can make.
• Write the chain on a whiteboard so kids can see which words have been used.
