Get ready
- Choose 3-5 categories, such as People, Places, What Happened, Memory Verse, and Bonus.
- Write point values (100-500) on sticky notes and put them in columns under each category.
- Write a matching question for each square on your own sheet. Easier questions get lower points.
- Split the kids into 2-4 teams.
How to play
- The first team picks a category and point value, like "People for 200."
- Pull that sticky note off the board and read the question out loud.
- The team has about 10 seconds to talk it over and give one answer.
- A correct answer earns the points. A wrong answer lets the next team try to steal.
- Play passes to the next team, and you keep going until the board is empty.
- Add up the points. The team with the most wins.
Tips & variations
- You don't have to make kids answer in the form of a question. Keep it simple.
- Add one secret "Double Points" square for extra excitement.
- Keep a scorekeeper (a helper or an older kid) so you can focus on asking questions.
π Bible connection
Make one whole category about applying the lesson, like "How could you live this out at school?" Give those answers full points for any thoughtful reply, not just one right answer.
