Get ready
- Write easy things to act out on slips (animals, sports, jobs, actions) and put them in a bowl.
- Split into two teams.
How to play
- One player picks a slip and reads it silently.
- They act it out with no talking and no sounds.
- Their team shouts guesses until they get it or the 60-second timer runs out.
- A correct guess earns a point. Then the other team takes a turn.
- Keep going until everyone has had a chance to act.
Tips & variations
- Teach a few signals first, like holding up fingers for the number of words.
- For pre-readers, whisper the word in their ear instead of using slips.
📖 Bible connection
Act out Bible stories, like Jonah in the fish or David and Goliath, to review what kids have learned. Showing is a great way to remember.
