Get ready
- Sit in a circle so everyone knows the order.
How to play
- The leader starts with "Once upon a time..."
- The next player adds just one word.
- Keep going around the circle, each kid adding one word to continue the story.
- When the story feels finished, someone says "The end!"
- Ask one kid to retell the whole story from memory, then start a new one.
Tips & variations
- For big groups, split into smaller circles of 5-8.
- For younger kids, let them add a whole sentence instead of one word.
