Get ready
- Make a start line and set a cone 15-20 feet away for each team.
- Split kids into teams of 3-6 and line them up behind the start line.
How to play
- The first player on each team holds the spoon with the egg on it.
- On "Go," walk quickly to the cone, go around it, and come back.
- If the egg falls, stop, put it back on the spoon, and keep going.
- Hand the spoon and egg to the next player in line.
- The first team to have everyone finish sits down to show they're done.
Tips & variations
- Use plastic eggs indoors. Save real hard-boiled eggs for outside.
- Older kids can try holding the spoon in their mouth.
- Cheer for the careful kids, not just the fast ones.
π Bible connection
Carrying the egg takes patience and steady focus. Galatians 5:22-23 lists patience and self-control as fruit the Holy Spirit grows in us.
