Kids take turns telling a story that flips between good news and bad news.

Get ready
- Sit in a circle or line so everyone knows the order.
How to play
- The leader starts with a simple sentence, like "One day I went to the beach."
- The next player adds a sentence starting with "Unfortunately..." (something goes wrong).
- The next player adds a sentence starting with "Fortunately..." (something goes right).
- Keep switching back and forth around the group.
- End the story when it reaches a fun stopping point, then start a new one.
Tips & variations
- Keep each sentence short so the story moves fast.
- Remind kids to listen closely so their sentence makes sense with the last one.
