Get ready
- Write one review question on each sheet of paper, or have older kids write their own question about the lesson.
- Put a tape line down the middle of the room and split kids into two sides.
How to play
- Give each kid a question sheet and have them crumple it into a ball.
- Say "Snowball fight!" Kids throw paper balls across the line for 30-60 seconds.
- Keep throwing back any snowballs that land on your side.
- When you call "Freeze!", everyone grabs one snowball and sits down.
- Go around and have kids open their snowball, read the question, and answer it.
- If someone gets stuck, they can ask a friend for help.
Tips & variations
- Set the rule up front: aim low, no throwing at faces.
- If you have more questions than time, play a second snowball fight round with the unopened balls.
- Have a recycling bin handy for easy cleanup.
π Bible connection
Have older kids write one question about the lesson and one thing they're thankful to God for. When kids open a snowball, they answer the question and read the praise out loud.
