Get ready
- Mark a clear boundary.
- Choose two kids to start as the blob. They hold hands.
How to play
- The blob moves together and tries to tag runners with their free hands.
- Anyone tagged joins the blob by holding hands on one end.
- When the blob reaches 4 people, it can split into two blobs of 2.
- Runners who step out of bounds join the blob too.
- Play until everyone is part of a blob. The last runner starts as the blob next time.
Tips & variations
- Only the hands on the ends of the blob can tag.
- If the blob comes apart, it has to join back together before tagging again.
- Walk-only version works great in a small room or with Pre-K helpers.
π Bible connection
The blob keeps growing as more people join. The early church grew the same way, as people told their friends about Jesus and more joined every day (Acts 2:47).
